Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption error within the __verify_planes_array() and __fill_vb2_buffer() functions in drivers/media/v4l2-core/videobuf2-v4l2.c. A local user can execute arbitrary code.
