The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the in_to_reg(), clear_caseopen() and nct6775_probe() functions in drivers/hwmon/nct6775.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
