Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to resource management error within the pmu_sbi_ctr_start() and pmu_sbi_ctr_stop() functions in drivers/perf/riscv_pmu_sbi.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
