Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow within the pmu_sbi_ovf_handler() function in drivers/perf/riscv_pmu_sbi.c. A local user can execute arbitrary code.
