Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper initialization within the tcp_set_default_congestion_control() function in net/ipv4/tcp_cong.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
