Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the spectre_v2_parse_cmdline() and pr_info() functions in arch/x86/kernel/cpu/bugs.c. A local user can gain access to sensitive information.
