Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the 802.1X Authentication (dot1x) Daemon. A local user can run a specific operational dot1x command to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
