Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption error within the tcp_v6_syn_recv_sock() function in net/ipv6/tcp_ipv6.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
