Description
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in arch/ia64/xen/faults.c on IA-64 architectures. A local user can turn on BE by modifying the user mask of the PSR and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
