Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper encoding or escaping of output in Windows App Installer. A remote attacker can trick a victim to call Windows App Installer with a specially crafted winget file and perform a spoofing attack.
