Detailed vulnerability description
A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of specific Ethernet frames by Cisco IOS XR Software for various Cisco Network Convergence System (NCS) platforms. A remote attacker can send specially crafted packets through the device and perform a denial of service attack.
