Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information or cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists due to an error in ReadSGIImage in coders/sgi.c. A remote attacker can provide a specially SGI image file, trigger memory leak and cause the application to crash.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
