Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated user to cause DoS conditions on the target system.
The weakness is due to access control error. By using a specially crafted IPv6 packet attackers can trigger the target line card to reset.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service on the vulnerable system.
