Description
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the read_from_str function due to stack-based buffer overread. A local attacker can send specially crafted input to be parsed by the sax_parse function, trigger memory corruption and cause the service to crash.

Mitigation
Update to version 2.8.2.
