Description
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a division by zero error within the i740fb_decode_var() function in drivers/video/fbdev/i740fb.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
Remediation
