The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target device.
The weakness exists in the RequestForPatientInfoEEGfile functionality due to stack-based buffer overflow. A remote attacker can submit a specially crafted network packet, trigger memory corruption, inject arbitrary commands and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
