Description
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the jpeg_fdct_16x16 function in the jfdctint.c source code file due to NULL pointer dereference. A local attacker can use the tiff2pdf tool to print a specially crafted .tif file and cause the service to crash.

Mitigation
Cybersecurity is currently unaware of any solutions addressing the vulnerability.
