Description
The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute shell commands on the target system.

The weakness exists in the CLI parser of Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) due to incorrect processing of the user’s input data in the certain parameter. A remote attacker can inject malicious arguments into vulnerable commands and execute arbitrary shell commands with root privileges.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.

Mitigation
The vulnerability is addressed in the following versions: 4.1.6.1, 4.2.4.1, 4.3.3.1, 4.4.2.1.
