Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS conditions on the target system.

The weakness exists due to NULL pointer dereference. A remote attacker can trigger the application to crash.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service of the vulnerable application.

Mitigation
Update Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat 8.1.7 or earlier to version 8.2.
Update Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat 9.2 or earlier to version 9.3.
