Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The vulnerability exists in the Local Packet Transport Services (LPTS) feature set due to lack of input and validation checking on certain Precision Time Protocol (PTP) ingress traffic. A remote attacker can inject malformed traffic into and cause services on the device to become unresponsive.
