Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to conduct directory traversal attack on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to path traversal. A remote unauthenticated attacker can use a specially crafted request with directory-traversal sequences ('../') to overwrite arbitrary files and execute arbitrary code with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
Note: the vulnerability has been dubbed "Zip Slip".
Mitigation
The vulnerability has been fixed in the versions 5.3.3.0-ICM-IF003, 5.2.1.7-ICM-IF004, 5.2.0.4-ICM-IF003.
