Description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

The vulnerability exists in Oracle VM VirtualBox. A local user can cause denial of service conditions by exploiting a flaw in the Oracle VM VirtualBox Core component.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in denial of service via local system.

Mitigation
The vendor has issued a fix as part of the July 2016 Oracle Critical Patch Update.
