Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an error configuration within the jdhcpd daemon when receiving specific IPv6 DHCP packets. A remote attacker in a local network can exploit this issue to cause a denial of service condition, effectively denying service to legitimate users.
