Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to an issue with a "IMBalloonPluginDataSource individualPreviewSummary" method in IMCore, which can throw an NSException. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted IMessage to cause a denial of service condition.
