Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability in a third-party component, trigger integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the client computer with the same permissions as the PI SQL Client user.

Communication with a malicious PI SQL Data Access Server (RTQP Engine) is needed to expose a PI SQL client to this vulnerability.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

Install updates from vendor's website.
