Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to Windows Media Service allows to create files in arbitrary locations on the system. A local user can create a specially crafted application and place malicious files in critical system locations and then escalate privileges on the system.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
