Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the SASL SCRAM protocol handler in "sasl.username" and "sasl.password". A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and cause a denial of service on the target system.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
