Description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the "ykpiv_util_generate_key()" function. An attacker with physical access can use a specially crafted PIV token, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
