Description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the passed in pointer is deallocated instead of the dynamically allocated one inside the "ykpiv_util_generate_key()" function. A local attacker can use a specially crafted token, trigger memory corruption and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
