Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote attacker can send specially crafted packets, trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

This vulnerability affects the following versions of MELSEC iQ-R series modules:

  • R00/01/02CPU, all versions
  • R04/08/16/32/120(EN)CPU, all versions
  • R08/16/32/120SFCPU, all versions
  • R08/16/32/120PCPU, all versions
  • R16/32/64MTCPU, all versions
