Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect processing of exceptional conditions in the PAN-OS signature-based threat detection engine. A remote non-authenticated attacker can communicate with devices in the network in a way that is not analyzed for threats by sending data through specifically crafted TCP packets.
