Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources in the Layer 2 punt code of Cisco IOS XR Software running on Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers. A remote attacker on the local network can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
