Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the Windows DHCP Client service. A local user can send a specially crafted RPC call to the DHCP service, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
