Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of errors in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) when processing incoming RESV message corresponding to a protected LSP. A remote attacker can send specially crafted RESV messages to the affected device and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
