Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the command line interpreter of FortiWeb. A local user can pass specifically crafted arguments to existing commands to trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the system.
