Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a deadlock in drivers/media/dvb-core/dvb_frontend.c when a task is in !TASK_RUNNING. A local user can trigger a deadlock and crash the kernel.
