Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send specially crafted requests to the website and execute arbitrary code on the system.
According to the vendor, the vulnerability is not directly exploitable in core, however it can be used against installations with plugins and especially against multisite installations.
