Description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges within the application.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions. A remote user with the rights to use the SharePoint Migration tool and the ability to create a new SharePoint site collection can escalate privileges within the application.

Install updates from vendor's website.
