Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of equivalent filenames that exist because of NTFS short names in checkout.c. A remote attacker can trick the victim into cloning a specially crafted repository and execute arbitrary code on the system.Mitigation
