Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to missing validation of the configuration file in the software installer. A local user can create a specially crafted configuration file in the /tmp directory and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

Install updates from vendor's website.
