Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.
The weakness exists due to buffer overflow in json_decode(). A remote attacker can supply JSON_INVALID_UTF8_IGNORE or JSON_INVALID string, trigger memory corruption and cause the application to crash.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
Mitigation
Update to version 7.2.0.
