Breakdown by Severity
- Low
- Medium
- High
- Critical
Description
This security bulletin contains information about 11 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in ConvertToPDF when parsing TIFF images in PhantomPDF. A remote attacker can create a specially rafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
2) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing JPEG2000 images within PDF files. A remote attacker can create a specially rafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read and gain access to potentially sensitive information, stored in memory.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive data.
3) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing JPEG images within PDF files. A remote attacker can create a specially rafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read and gain access to potentially sensitive information, stored in memory.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive data.
4) Use-after-free error (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free error. A remote attacker can create a specially rafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker co compromise vulnerable system.
5) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing fonts within PDF files. A remote attacker can create a specially rafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read and gain access to potentially sensitive information, stored in memory.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive data.
6) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
7) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing JPEG2000 images within PDF files. A remote attacker can create a specially rafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
8) Use-after-free error (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free error when processing dialog boxes while the document closes. A remote attacker can create a specially rafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker co compromise vulnerable system.
9) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
10) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable system.
11) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable system.
