Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8073)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists due to buffer overflow. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted filename via DCC and cause the service to crash.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-0873)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
A denial of service vulnerability in the Android media framework (libmpeg2). Product: Android. Versions: 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 8.0. Android ID A-63316255.
