Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists due to buffer overflow. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted filename via DCC and cause the service to crash.

Update to version 1.7.1 or 1.7-3.
