1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-13999)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition or possibly execute arbitrary code on the target system.The weakness exists due to multiple stack-based buffer overflows when the application does not verify string size before copying to memory. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and cause the system crash or execute arbitrary code.
