Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-47176)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in Microsoft Outlook. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-47171)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Microsoft Outlook. A remote user can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
