1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-80593)

CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read

CVSSv4: 4.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in the atk_ec_present() function in the asus_atk0110 hwmon driver when processing a malformed firmware package returned by the GGRP ACPI method. A local attacker can provide a zero-length sub-package to trigger the out-of-bounds read and disclose sensitive information.
