Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the otx2_ptp_destroy() function in drivers/net/ethernet/marvell/octeontx2/nic/otx2_ptp.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
