Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the MOV/MP4 demuxer (qtdemux) when parsing uncompressed video streams in MOV/MP4 files. A remote attacker can provide a crafted MOV/MP4 file with invalid uncompressed video parameters to cause a denial of service.

This affects uncompressed video profiles supported by the uncC box, and user interaction is required to process the crafted file.
