The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in the MXF demuxer when parsing crafted VANC packets in an MXF file. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted MXF file to cause a denial of service.

User interaction is required to open or process a crafted MXF file.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect buffer operations in the MXF muxer when writing crafted VANC packets in an MXF file. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted MXF file with invalid VANC packet configuration to cause a denial of service.

User interaction is required to open or process a crafted MXF file.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in GstBuffer value deserialization in the GStreamer core library when parsing crafted serialized buffer data with invalid content. A remote attacker can provide specially crafted serialized buffer values to execute arbitrary code.

Successful exploitation may also cause a crash or data corruption.

A remote attacker can provide a crafted MXF file with invalid temporal offset values to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds write in the H.266/VVC codec parser (gsth266parser) when parsing a crafted H.266/VVC video stream with invalid PPS tile slice configuration. A remote attacker can provide a specially crafted video stream to execute arbitrary code.

The issue can also result in a crash or data corruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the MOV/MP4 demuxer (qtdemux) when parsing uncompressed video streams in MOV/MP4 files. A remote attacker can provide a crafted MOV/MP4 file with invalid uncompressed video parameters to cause a denial of service.

This affects uncompressed video profiles supported by the uncC box, and user interaction is required to process the crafted file.

The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in the MPEG PES header parser in the mpegdemux element and resindvd PES filter when parsing malformed MPEG Program Stream files. A remote attacker can trick the victim into processing a specially crafted MPEG Program Stream file to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service.
